CareerVive

Terms, plainly.

The plain-language version sits at the top of each section. The detail follows it.

Who we are

CareerVive is Aneal. These terms are the deal between us.

CareerVive provides career coaching, career tools and related services, delivered personally by Aneal Birdi. You can reach us any time at [email protected]. By booking, purchasing or using any CareerVive service, you agree to these terms.

The services

One free conversation, one paid hour, one CV tool, and defined coaching programmes.

The Vision Call is a free twenty-minute conversation, direct with Aneal, with no obligation on either side.

The One-Hour Session is a paid sixty-minute working session priced at £300, and you leave it with a clear, finished CV. It can be booked after a Vision Call or directly.

The CV Engine is a £39.99 digital service. You complete a voice-led session, every CV is personally reviewed by Aneal, and your CV is delivered within 24 hours of a completed session.

Coaching programmes are agreed individually. Each programme has a defined term, session cadence, deliverables and finish line, confirmed in writing before it starts. Outplacement services for employers run under a separate written agreement.

Payment

Payment comes first. No service starts before it.

All services begin only once payment, or the first instalment of an agreed payment plan, has been received. Prices are as stated on this site or in your written agreement at the time of purchase.

Where a payment plan is agreed, the full programme fee remains payable even if you secure a role or finish early. The plan spreads the cost of the programme; it does not make the programme pay-as-you-go.

Your cooling-off right

You get 14 days to change your mind, minus anything already delivered.

As a UK consumer buying at a distance, you have a 14-day cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. If you ask us to begin within those 14 days, you agree that work delivered before you cancel is chargeable, and that once a personalised service such as a CV Engine delivery or a completed One-Hour Session has been fully performed, the right to cancel it no longer applies. None of this affects your statutory rights.

Cancellations and rescheduling

Give 48 hours notice to move a call, or the slot may be gone for that week.

If you need to reschedule a booked call, please give at least 48 hours notice. With less notice than that, we cannot guarantee another slot that week and the call may need to wait for the next available one.

Clients in live interview processes take priority for available slots. That protects you when it is your interview week, and it is why late-notice rescheduling cannot jump the queue.

A missed call without notice counts as a delivered session on programmes with a fixed number of sessions.

Turnaround times

Fast, defined, and honest about what is outside our control.

CV Engine deliveries arrive within 24 hours of a completed session. Cover letters are returned within two business days, with one business day as the aim. Interview and recruiter preparation is prioritised, aimed within 24 hours of your request.

Roles that close, change or are withdrawn by an employer during a turnaround window are outside our control, and we are not liable for them.

What coaching is, and is not

Professional coaching with a clear strategy. Not counselling, and not unlimited.

Coaching at CareerVive is a professional development service built around you as an individual, with a clear strategy agreed between us. It is not a counselling, therapy or crisis service, and it is not an unlimited on-demand service. The sessions, support and deliverables included are those defined in your programme.

The strategy is how the results happen. We ask you to stick to it, do the work between sessions, and raise it directly if something in it is not working, so it can be adjusted deliberately rather than abandoned.

Outcomes described on this site are real client results, not guarantees. No coach can promise a role, a salary or a timeline, and we will never pretend otherwise. Your results depend on the market, the strategy, and your own decisions and effort. Nothing we provide is legal or financial advice.

AI in our services

AI helps build. Aneal reviews everything before it reaches you.

Parts of our services, including the CV Engine, use AI tools to process what you share and draft your documents. AI can make mistakes, so two protections apply. Every deliverable is personally reviewed by Aneal before delivery, and you agree to read your final documents and confirm the facts in them, your dates, employers, figures and claims, before relying on them, since they are built from the information you provide.

Outputs and conversations with our AI tools are guidance within your service, not professional, legal or financial advice, and interactions with an AI tool do not create commitments beyond these terms. CareerViveGPT runs inside ChatGPT and your use of it is also subject to OpenAI's own terms. How your data moves through these tools is covered on the Privacy page.

Staying in touch

WhatsApp between sessions. Calls are booked, not ambushed.

Programme support between sessions runs over WhatsApp, and voice notes are welcome. Calls are booked in advance rather than taken ad hoc. Messages received outside working hours are answered the next working day. When Aneal is away, programmes are extended to cover the break, and no calls run during it.

Call recording

Calls may be recorded so nothing agreed gets lost. You can opt out in writing.

Calls, including coaching sessions and Vision Calls held by phone or video, may be recorded for quality and programme delivery purposes. Recordings and transcripts are used to analyse your position properly, record the agreements and next steps reached in each session, and keep the coaching consistent. They are treated as strictly confidential and are never shared with a third party without your explicit written consent.

You may opt out of recording at any time by writing to [email protected], and note-taking will be used instead.

Your materials, our methods

What we build for you is yours. How we build it stays ours.

Everything created for you or with you, your CV, your stories, your positioning and your documents, is yours to keep and use. The STORY™ framework, the CareerVive methods and the materials used to deliver them remain the property of CareerVive and may not be resold or republished.

Your data

We collect what delivery needs, guard it, and delete it when you ask.

CareerVive processes your personal data under UK GDPR. We collect what the service requires: your contact details, the career information and documents you share, and call recordings or transcripts where you have not opted out. We use it to deliver the service you have purchased, store it securely, and never sell it.

Trusted providers process data on our behalf only as needed to deliver the service, such as scheduling, payment and transcription providers. You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, and to object to its processing, by writing to [email protected]. The Privacy page covers this in full, and you can complain to the ICO if you believe your data has been mishandled.

Liability

We stand behind our work. We cannot carry the whole market.

We provide every service with reasonable care and skill, as the Consumer Rights Act 2015 requires. If something we deliver falls short of that, tell us and we will put it right.

Our total liability to you is limited to the fees you have paid for the service concerned. We are not liable for the hiring decisions of employers, the closure of roles, or events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Ending things

Either of us can end it for good reason. Respect runs both ways.

You may end a programme if we materially breach these terms and do not put it right within a reasonable time of you telling us in writing. We may end a programme, with fees for undelivered work refunded, in the event of non-payment or conduct that makes continuing untenable. Both sides commit to working in good faith and treating each other with respect.

The legal frame

England and Wales. Plain dealing throughout.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stand. These terms, together with your written programme agreement where you have one, are the whole agreement between us.
